Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Cancellation Policy

  • By Microsoft. We may cancel or suspend your service or a portion of your service if you violate the terms of your contract. If we do, your right to use the service will stop right away. Cancellation of the service will not change your obligation to pay any charges due on your billing account.
  • By You.
    • Cancellation: You may cancel your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online service at any time for any reason. To cancel, call 877-CRM-CHOICE. If you cancel your service before the end of your service term you will be charged a cancellation fee of $175 per user for the total number of users on your subscription, except if you cancel within 30 days of the end of your subscription term.
      • First-time subscribers: You may cancel your subscription at any time within the first 30 days of sign up without a cancellation fee. However, the flat fee of $79 that was charged at sign up will not be refunded to you.
      • Renewals: Your account will be auto-renewed at the end of your contract period if you do not cancel or upgrade ahead of time. We will provide you adequate notice about the end of your contract and our auto-renewal policy. If you cancel your subscription any time after auto-renewal you will be charged the cancellation fee of $175 per user.
    • Reducing number of user licenses in your subscription: You may reduce the number of user licenses that you have with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online at any time for any reason. Please note that you will need to maintain a minimum of 5 user licenses on your subscription. If you reduce the number of user licenses in your subscription before the end of your service term you will be charged the applicable pro-rated fee for each user license disabled for the period of usage up to the date of cancellation. You will also be charged a cancellation fee of $175 per user license disabled. Here are the steps to disable the number of user licenses:
      • Step 1: Use Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online to disable users* in your organization. Go to Settings > Administration > Users to specify the reduced number of users.
*The term “Users” indicates individuals in your organization who have access to CRM Online. “User licenses” refers to the named licenses that you have access to with your subscription of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online.
      • Step 2: Then call 877-CRM-CHOICE to talk to a customer service representative and disable the number of user licenses to be less than or equal to the number of licenses you wish to keep.
    • Conversion from Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online to Microsoft Dynamics CRM On-Premise: If you cancel your Online account to migrate to our on-premise offering, the cancellation fee will be waived. This benefit is only offered to organizations that have an active Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online subscription and that have made at least 3 months of service payments. You must provide proof of purchase of the on-premise offering in order to have your cancellation fee waived. To begin the migration process, please call 877-CRM-CHOICE.
